Power to make rules.—(1) The State Government may, by notification, make rules for the purpose of carrying into effect the provisions of this Act. 8 (2) In making a rule under this Act, the Government may provide that a contravention thereof shall be punishable with fine which may extend to 1[two hundred and fifty rupees]1.
