Supplementary estimates may be prepared and submitted when necessary.- The Board may, at any time during the year for which any estimate has been sanctioned, cause a supplementary estimate to be prepared and submitted to it. Every such supplementary estimate shall be considered and approved by the Board and submitted to the Government for sanction and a copy of the estimate as sanctioned shall be sent to the local authority concerned, in the same manner as if it were an original annual estimate.
