Substituted by Act 24 of 2016 w.e.f. 28.07.2016. (a) that any street laid out or altered by the Board has been duly levelled, paved, metalled, flagged, channelled, sewered and drained in the manner provided in 19 [Act 10 of 1963] the programme sanctioned by the State Government under section 20, and (b) that such lamps, lamp-posts and other apparatus as the corporation, the municipal council, the municipal committee or other municipal body, the 1[x x x]1, 4[town panchayat or Grama panchayat]4 or 2[mandal panchayat]2, as the case may be, considers necessary for the lighting of such streets and as ought to be provided by the Board have been so provided, and
