Application of term "public servant", to the Greater Bengaluru Authority and the City Corporation officers, agents and sub-agents.- Every councillor, officer or servant or person in service or pay of the Greater Bengaluru Authority or a City Corporation, every contractor or agent for the collection of any City Corporation tax, fee or other sum due to the City Corporation and every person, employed by any such contractor or agent for the collection of such tax, fee, or sum shall deemed to be a public servant within the meaning as under clause (28) of section 2 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
