Provision for lighting of Public Streets.- (1) The City Corporation shall cause the public streets to be lighted and for that purpose shall provide such street lights as may be necessary. (2) The Commissioner shall take measures for lighting in a suitable manner all such public streets and public places. (3) The Commissioner shall procure, erect and maintain such number of street lights, lamps, lamp posts and other accessories as may be necessary for the said purpose.
