Appointment of the Chief Financial Officer.- (1) The City Corporation shall appoint with the approval of the Government, a Chief Financial Officer who shall guide the City Corporation on all financial matters and perform such duties as allocated by the Mayor or the Commissioner from time to time. (2) The Chief Financial Officer shall be of such rank and designation as may be specified by the Government.
