Legal cell.- (1) There shall be a legal cell in the City Corporation consisting of such number of officers possessing such qualifications as may be prescribed. (2) The City Corporation shall consult the legal cell on all matters pertaining to the interpretation of the provisions of this Act and the Rules, Regulations and bye-laws made there under and also in matters pertaining to the institution, defense or conduct of suits and other legal proceedings to which the City Corporation is a party. (3) The expenditure on the legal cell shall be paid out of the City Corporation funds.
