Articles exposed to infection.- (1) The Secretary shall, from time to time, notify places at which articles of clothing or bedding or other articles which have been exposed to infection from any dangerous or infectious disease may be washed or disinfected. (2) The Secretary may direct the destruction of clothing, bedding, or other articles likely to retain such infection. (3) Whoever washes such clothing or bedding or other articles at any place other than those set apart for such purposes under sub-section (1), shall, on conviction be punished with fine which may extend to fifty rupees.
