Casual vacancies how to be filled up.- A casual vacancy of a member of a Taluk Panchayat shall be filled up, as soon as conveniently may be, by the election of a person thereto who shall hold office so long only as the member in whose place he is elected could have held office if the vacancy had not occurred.
