Resignation of members.- A member of a Taluk Panchayat may resign his membership in writing under his hand addressed to the Adhyaksha of the Taluk Panchayat and his seat shall become vacant on the expiry of fifteen clear days from the date of such resignation unless within the said period of fifteen days, he withdraws such resignation by writing under his hand addressed to the Adhyaksha. 1[The Adhyaksha shall cause the letter of resignation to be laid in the next meeting of the Taluk Panchayat.] 1
