Non-compliance by Police officer.- Any police officer, who violates the provisions of this Act, is guilty of an offence and in case of non-compliance or violation of any of the provisions of this Act, a complaint shall be filed with the concerned Deputy Commissioner of Police or an equivalent officer and shall be subject to disciplinary action as per the appropriate rules with appropriate arrangements made to receive and dispose of such complaints in a timely manner.
