Term of office and conditions of service.- (1) notwithstanding anything contained in section 7, every nominated member shall hold office during the pleasure of the State Government and their condition of service shall be such as may be prescribed. (2) Subject to the provisions of sub-section (1) every nominated member shall hold office for three years from the date of nomination, but be shall be eligible for re- nomination. (3) Every nominated member may at time resign his office by a letter of resignation addressed to the State Government: Provided that the resignation shall not take effect until it is accepted.
