Act to override other laws.- The provisions of this Act and any order issued thereunder shall have effect notwithstanding anything inconsistent therewith contained in any other law for the time being in force: Provided that the provisions contained in this Act shall not override any of the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003 or rule or orders made thereunder. 6 1[10. Power to remove difficulty.- (1) If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of this Act, then the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, make such provisions as may appear to it to be necessary or expedient for purpose of removing the difficulty. (2) Every order made under sub-section (1), shall as soon as after it is made, be laid before the State Legislature.]1
