Appeal to the Appellate Tribunal.- (1) Any officer 1[empowered by the State Government or the Commissioner]1 in this behalf or any other person objecting to an order passed by the 2[Joint Commissioner]2 under section 8B or section 8C may appeal to the Appellate Tribunal constituted under the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal Act, 1976 (Karnataka Act 10 of 1976), within a period of sixty days from the date on which the order was communicated to him.
