Bar of jurisdiction and saving of consumer actions.- (1) No order or proceeding made under this Act or rules or regulations framed Electricity Reform [1999: KAR. ACT 25 444 under the Act shall be appeallable except as provided in the Act and no Civil Court including under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 shall have jurisdiction in respect of any matter which the Commission or the Appellate Authority has jurisdiction under this Act . (2) Nothing in this Act shall in any way prejudice or affect the rights and privileges of the consumers under other laws including the Consumer Protection Act, 1986.
