Short title, extent and commencement. - (1) This Act may be called the Dayananda Sagar University Act, 2012. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Karnataka. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, in the official Gazette, appoint. This Act has came into force w.e.f. 16.05.2014. by Notification No.Er 95 AiÀÄÄDgï¹ 2014, Dated:16.05.2014. (See the text of the notification at the end of the Act)
