Members of the Authority and members of the staff of the Authority to be public servants .- Members of the Authority and the members of the staff of the Authority shall, while acting or purporting to act in pursuance of any of the provisions of 21 this Act, be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Central Act 45 of 1860).
