Elections.- (1) The election to the *board* of a co-operative society under the Co-operative Credit Structure shall be conducted 1[in accordance with the provisions of the sub-section (2) of section 39A]1 and in case of supersession of the *board* of such co-operative society, the election shall be conducted within two months from the date of supersession:
