Power to remove difficulty STATEMENT OF OBJECTS AND REASONS Act 16 of 2026.- It is considered necessary to give effect to the proposal made in the Budget Speech of 2025-26 to enact a legislation to provide for establishment of an independent statutory Authority to develop and maintain the Chandraguthi Shree Renukamba temple, in Sorab taluk, Shivamogga District into tourist centre and also to maintain it and for the matters connected there with or incidental thereto.
