The Finance Committee.- (1) The Finance Committee shall consist of the following, namely:- (i) The Vice-chancellor – Chairperson; 27 (ii) One nominee of the Chancellor from among the members of the Board of Governors; (iii) The Registrar – Member; (iv) One nominee of the Sponsoring Body – Member; (v) The Finance Officer - Secretary; and (vi) Such other members as may be specified in the Statutes from time to time (2) The Finance Committee shall be the principal financial body of the University to take care of all financial matters and shall, subject to the provisions of this Act, Rules and Statutes co-ordinate and exercise general supervision and control over the financial operations of the University.
