Payment of premium, etc

Payment of premium, etc.- (1) The right of an inamdar or other person to be registered as an occupant under this Act shall be subject to the payment by him to the State Government of a premium as specified below:- (i) an inamdar: six times the land revenue of the lands to be registered; (ii) other persons referred to in section 5 : one hundred times the land revenue of the lands to be registered. (2) The said right shall also be subject to the further conditions that the land registered shall not be alienated in any manner or partitioned except with the previous sanction of the Deputy Commissioner and on payment of an amount equal to twenty times the land revenue of the lands concerned, which shall be in addition to the amount already paid as premium: 3[Provided that such sanction shall not be necessary for an inamdar including the holder of a minor inam to alienate the land of which he is registered as an occupant in an enfranchised inam.]3 CHAPTER IV DETERMINATION OF AMOUNT PAYABLE IN RESPECT OF PERSONAL INAMS 17
