Reservation of the office of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor- There shall be reserved by the Government in the prescribed manner the office of Mayor and Deputy Mayor, as the case may be, of the Corporation, for the persons belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and women by rotation on occurrence of vacancy.
