Mayor and Deputy Mayor.- The Members of the Corporation shall in the first meeting of the Corporation elect one of its Members to be the Mayor and another member to be the Deputy Mayor of the Corporation in such manner as may be prescribed. In an event of a vacancy in the office of either the Mayor or the Deputy Mayor, the Corporation shall within one month of such a vacancy fill up these vacancies.
