Power to prohibit use of public streets for certain kind of traffic.- (1) The Zonal Commissioner may prohibit vehicular traffic in any public street or any portion thereof so as to prevent danger, obstruction or inconvenience to the public or to ensure quietness in any locality. (2) The Zonal Commissioner shall seek assistance from police to regulate traffic in streets as stipulated under Section 69 of the Karnataka Police Act, 1963.
