Acquisition of the property by the corporation.-(1)The Chief Commissioner if on behalf of the corporation seeks to acquire any immovable property, the Chief Commissioner may do so provided such intent of acquisition is approved by the mayor. (2) Any acquisition that may be undertaken as per sub section (1) shall be in accordance with the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013).
