Reservation of posts for appointment.- In making appointments the appointing authority shall reserve adequate number of posts for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes and socially and educationally backward classes of citizens in the same manner and to the same extent as is applicable for the recruitment to posts in the State Civil Services.
