Abolition, vesting of inams and the consequence thereof.- (1) Notwithstanding anything contained in any contract, grant or other instrument or in any other law for the time being in force, with effect from and on the appointed date all religious or charitable inams in the 1[Belgaum and Gulbarga Areas]1 of the State shall stand abolished.
