Supply of water.—The Water-Supply Engineer may permit the owner, lessee or occupier of any premises to connect the premises by means of supply pipes for conveying to the premises a supply of water for his domestic purposes from the Board water works subject to the requirements specified in section 44 and the conditions, if any, laid down in the rules made in this behalf.
