Protection for action taken in good faith.- (1) No proceedings, civil or criminal, shall lie against any officer of the State Government or its instrumentalities, in respect of anything which is good faith, done or intended to be done, in pursuance of this Act. (2) Notwithstanding any order or judgment of any court, any officer of the State Government or its instrumentalities, shall not be liable for any punishment for any act or for anything which is in good faith, done or intended to be done, in pursuance of this Act.
