Meetings of the Authority.- (1) The meetings of the Authority shall be convened by the Chairman and shall be held at any place within the jurisdiction of the Authority. (2) The Authority shall meet at such times and shall observe such rules of procedure in regard to the transaction of business at its meetings (Including quorum at meetings) as may be provided by the regulations. (3) The Chairman or, if for any reason he is unable to attend any meeting, any other member chosen by the members present at the meeting shall preside at the meeting. (4) All questions which come up before any meeting of the Authority shall be decided by a majority of the votes of the members present and voting and in the event of an equality of votes, the Chairman or in his absence, the person presiding, shall have and exercise a second or casting vote. 1976: KAR. ACT 12] Bangalore Development Authority 119 (5) A member shall not , at any meeting of the Authority or a committee thereof, take part in the discussion of or vote on any matter in which he has directly or indirectly, by himself or his partner, any share or interest.
