Government’s power to give directions to the Authority.-The Government may give such directions to the Authority as in its opinion are necessary or expedient for carrying out the purposes of this Act, and it shall be the duty of the Authority to comply with such directions. 1[65A. Transfer of employees.-(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, or in any law for the time being in force, the State Government may transfer any officer or servant of the authority to the service of any local authority. (2) The State Government shall have power to issue such general or special directions as it thinks necessary for the purpose of giving due effect 1976: KAR. ACT 12] Bangalore Development Authority 149 to transfers made under sub-section (1) and such directions shall be complied with by the local Authority concerned.]1
