Appeal to Board from the decision of Registrar

Appeal to Board from the decision of Registrar.—(1) Any person aggrieved by the decision of the Registrar regarding the registration of any person or any entry in the register may appeal to the Board. (2) Such appeal shall be filed and shall be heard and decided by the Board in the prescribed manner. 14 (3) The Board may, on its own motion or on the application of any person, after due enquiry and after giving an opportunity to the person concerned of being heard, cancel or alter any entry in the Register, if, in the opinion of the Board, such entry was fraudulently or incorrectly made. (4) Any person aggrieved by any order of the Board under sub-section (3) may, within ninety days from the date of communication of the order to the person concerned, appeal to the State Government.
