Power to make rules by the State Government STATEMENT OF OBJECTS AND REASONS Act 16 of 2018.- Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (Regd.), E-27, Defence Colony, New Delhi-110024, has come forward to establish private University in the State. The establishment of a private university by a well-known organization would certainly help in spreading the quality education to the needy students. Keeping in view the above, it is considered necessary to provide for establishment of a private non-affiliating unitary University called the Amity University sponsored by Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (Regd.), E-27, Defence Colony, New Delhi-110024 with Head Quarters at Devanahalli, Bengaluru Rural District. 3 This private university focuses on Degree, Post Graduate, Doctoral, Post Doctoral courses in Humanities, Languages, Life, Physical and Allied Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Nano Technology, Travel and Tourism, Rural and Urban Development, Mass Communication, Forensic Science, Psychology, Nuclear Science, Fine Arts, Aerospace, Solar and Renewable Energy, Microbiology, Fashion Design and Technical Courses, Bioinformatics, Network Technology and Management, Actuarial Science, Geographic Information System and Remote Sensing Law, Architecture, Planning and Design and allied sectors, Commerce, Arts and Management and to make provisions for research, advancement and dissemination of knowledge, including consultancy and the matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
