Regulations.- Subject to the provisions of this Act, the regulations may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:- (i) Admission of students to the University and their enrolment and continuance as such; (ii) The courses of study to be laid down for all degrees and other academic distinctions of the University; (iii) The award of degrees and other academic distinctions; (iv) The conditions for the award of fellowships, scholarships, studentships, medals, and prizes; (v) The conduct of examinations and the conditions and mode of appointment and duties of examining bodies, examiners, invigilators, tabulators, and moderators; (vi) The fee to be charged for admission to the examinations, degrees, and other academic distinctions of the University; (vii) The conditions of residence of the students at the University or a Constituent College; (viii) Maintenance of Discipline among the students of the University or a Constituent College; (ix) All other matters as may be provided in the Statutes under the Act.
