Chairman, Vice-Chairman, members, officers and servants of market committee or Board to be public servants.- The Chairman, the Vice- Chairman, the members, the officers and other servants of a market committee and the Vice-Chairman, the members, the officers and other servants of the Board shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code and the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947, for the time being in force.
