Power to summon witnesses and take evidence.- The trustee committee and the Bar Council shall, for the purposes of any enquiry under this Act, have the same powers as are vested in a civil court while trying a suit under the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, in respect of the following matters, namely:-- (a) enforcing the attendance of any person or examining him on oath; 1985: KAR.
