(1) The State Government may at any time, by an order published in the official Gazette, constitute a Commission. (2) The Commission constituted under sub-section (1) shall inquire into and report on the following- the working of the University; the financial condition of the University, its college and other academic institutions; any changes to be made in the provisions of this Act, the Statutes, the Ordinances and the Regulations with a view to bringing about improvements; such other matter as may be referred to it by the State Government. (3) On receipt of the recommendations under sub-section (2), the State Government may send the same to the appropriate authority of the University for consideration and report thereon, and on receipt of his report, may pass such order thereon as it may consider fit. It shall cause the said order published in the official Gazette. Thereupon the University shall comply with the order within such time as may be specified by the State Government.
