(1) The examination of the University shall be held from such date, as may be appointed by the State Government by a notification in the official Gazette :- Provided that where the State Government is satisfied that it is not possible to hold examinations in accordance with the said notification, it shall, in consultation with the Vice-Chancellor, appoint revised dates of examinations and the revised dates shall be notified in the official Gazette. (2) Results of examinations shall be published within sixty days of the completion of the concerned examination, which may be extended to a period beyond sixty days for reasons to be recorded in writing. (3) Person appointed for invigilation or any other related work in connection with the conduct of college or University examinations shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
