1. The Academic Council shall consist of the following namely: (a) The Vice-Chancellor - Chairman . (b) The Registrar - Secretary. (c) Such other members as may be prescribed in the Statutes. 2. The Academic Council shall be the principal academic body of the University and shall, subject to the provision of this Act, the Statutes and the rules, coordinate and exercise general supervision over the academic policies of the University
