(1) There shall be established a University by the name of the “ Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University”. (2) The Vice Chancellor, the Pro Vice Chancellor, the Financial Adviser, Governing Council, the Academic Council, the Directors, the Director of Research and Development, the Dean, the Registrar and such officers or members so long as they continue to hold such office or membership, hereby constitute a body-corporate by the name of the “ Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University”. (3) The University shall be a body corporate by the name as aforesaid, having perpetual succession and common seal with power, subject to the provisions of the Act, to acquire and hold property, to contract and shall, by the said name sue or be sued.
