First meeting of Municipality - (1) The first meeting of a municipality after the general election of councillors to the municipality shall be convened within thirty days from the date of publication of the names of elected councillors in the Official Gazette under the provisions relating to municipal elections in the State. (2) Seven days’ notice shall be given for the meeting. (3) In the case of a Municipal Corporation, the meeting shall be convened by the Divisional Commissioner or any officer authorized in this behalf by the State Government. >kj[k.M xtV ¼vlk/kkj.k½] o`gLifrokj 9 Qjojh] 2012 453 (4) In the case a Municipal Council or a Nagar Panchayat, the meeting shall be convened by the Deputy Commissioner or any officer authorized in this behalf by the State Government.
