Cadres of common municipal services, appointments etc.- (1) The State Government shall constitute cadres of common municipal services of such officers of municipality referred to in sub-section (1) of section 56 and other employees as may be determined by the State Government, from time to time. (2) The Director of Municipal Administration shall be the appointing authority of all officers borne in common municipal services and shall have authority to transfer such officers and other employees from one municipality to another.
