State Chamber of Municipal Councils (1) The municipalities in the State after obtaining order of the Government, may join to form an association to be called the State Chamber of Municipal Councils; (2) The functions of the Chamber formed under sub-section (1) shall be to advise the Government as well as municipalities on the improvement of municipal administration and to perform such other functions as the State Government may, from time to time prescribe.
