Appointment of Chief Registrar and Registrars. – (1) The Chief Municipal Health Officer shall be the Chief Registrar of Births and Deaths occurring in the municipal area. >kj[k.M xtV ¼vlk/kkj.k½] o`gLifrokj 9 Qjojh] 2012 653 (2) The Municipal Commissioner or the Executive Officer shall, for the purposes of this chapter, appoint such number of persons to be Registrars of Births and Deaths as he deems necessary and shall define the respective areas which shall be under the charge of such Registrars.
