Allocation of Funds - (1) The municipality shall allocate twenty percent of the amount earmarked in the maintenance provision of municipal budget to Ward Committees for maintenance of services like water supply, sanitation, drains, street lights, parks, markets, etc. (2) Allocation and utilisation of funds to and by the ward committees for maintenance of civic services shall be in the manner prescribed by the Government.
