Destroying direction posts, lamp-posts, etc. – Whoever without being authorised by the Municipal Commissioner or the Executive Officer, defaces or disturbs any municipal direction-post, street name, lamp-post or lamp or extinguishes any municipal light in any public place, shall be punishable with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees.
