Water not to be wasted

Water not to be wasted.- (1) No person, being the occupier of any premises to which water is supplied by the municipality or the other agency, shall, on account of negligence or other circumstances under the control of such occupier, allow the water to be wasted, or allow the pipes, works or fittings for the supply of water in his premises to be out of repair causing thereby waste of water. (2) No person shall unlawfully flood, or draw off, divert, or take water from, any waterworks belonging to, or under the control of, the municipality, or from any watercourse or stream by which such water is supplied. >kj[k.M xtV ¼vlk/kkj.k½] o`gLifrokj 9 Qjojh] 2012 515 (3) No person shall unlawfully draw, divert or take water from any water works belonging to or under the control of the municipality by fixing motor or such other device to the trunk mains or mains or service pipes or supply pipes.
