The following proviso may be added after proviso II in para 1 of the orders--- III (a) The foreigners and the Indian Tourists may be permitted to be served all kinds of foreign liquor in pegs in their rooms in the hotels approved by the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation, Government of India; (b) Beer only may be served near swimming pool and gardens in the campus of such hotels. (c) Only foreigners may be served with all kinds of foreign liquor in bars or rooms specially earmarked for this purpose in such hotels. In such places beer only may be served to the Indians. (d) In dining halls of such hotels foreigners may be served with beer and wine (excepting foreign liquor distilled spirit) but India may be served with beer only.
