Power to order record of praedial conditions, with or without commutation - (1) The [State] Government may, in any case in which it is, in its opinion, expedient so to do, make an order directing either,- (a) that a record of all praedial conditions to which the lands within any local area or any estate, tenure or part thereof are subject shall be prepared, and a commutation of such conditions made, by a Revenue Officer; or (b) that a record as aforesaid be made by a Revenue Officer without commutation of such conditions as aforesaid. (2) A notification in the [* * *] [Gazette] of an order under this Section shall be conclusive evidence that the order has been duly made. (3) The record of praedial conditions shall be prepared in the prescribed manner.
