Penalty for failure to give notice of the commencement of the building or other construction work. Where an employer fails to give notice of the commencement of the building or other construction work under section 46, he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine which may" tend to two thousand rupees, or with both.
